The will of William Reeve of Blackmore states his desire to be buried beside his wife in the churchyard of Blackmore Parish. His will names the following individuals:
- my eldest son William Reeve (received property at Fingrith)
- my cousin? Aaron? Brown Widow
- my son Francis Reeve my daughter Mary Ann the wife of George Fromris? and my daughter Sophia the wife of John Gowing
- friends John Barrett and Ashely Barrett both of Blackmore (executors)
- Mary Campbell widow and John Campell Esquire (money owed)
- my said three children James Reeve Mary Ann Francis and Sophia Gowing
- my said Cousin Mary Brown
- my three sisters Hannah Roach Ann Mullocks and Martha Parsons
The will was dated 13 Dec 1803 and probated 13 Feb 1804. This matches William Reeve who was buried at Blackmore, St. Lawrence on 1 Jan 1804. His burial was recorded twice, once with age 56, the other with age 65.
