Allen was apparently in Lawrence County, Alabama for a time which is where Isaac Reeves appears in 1830 as well. In 1826, there was a court case in which Allen Reeves had a plea of debt against Burrell Mapp for forty five dollars. A Samuel Reeves, either his likely brother or father, appears in another court case in Lawrence County.
