Arthur made his will in April 1786 and it was proven the 2 May. It mentions his wife but doesn't name her. It also names his four sons.
An 1823 deed mentions land which Arthur had from his father's will and gave to his wife in his own will. His brothers Joseph and Thomas Reeves were the executors. Thomas had died by the time of the deed and Joseph was left the sole executor to sell the land as there were apparently no direct heirs.
Abstracts from the Samuel Mickle Diary contains the following entry:
5 Aug 1822 - Mary Reeves widow of Arthur was interred today in the 90th year of age, also her son Arthur deceased to day likewise Bathsheba Clayton wife of Edward Clayton also infant child of Joseph Saunders.
NOTE: This appears to be a error in the transcription or original note, as the wife of Edward Clayton was Beulah, Arthur's daughter.
Research Notes
Aaron and Mary Ann Reeves of Philadelphia and Mark and Ann Reeves of Gloucester County who sold land to Capt. John Miller of Greenwich, Cumberland County, in 1817. The deed states they received the land by deeds from John Adams in 1795 and William Mulford in 1806. These may be the sons of Arthur.Sources
