Southampton, L. I., July 24 - Edward Cook Reeves, the oldest inhabitant of Southampton, died yesterday at his home here, on So. Maine St., at the age of 96. He is survived by only one of his four children, Frederick S. Reeves, of 121 Avenue J, Brooklyn. Mr. Reeves was born here and in his younger days, was a farmer. He retired several years ago. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Southampton Cemetery.
