Narrative
Probable child of Henry Reeves and unknown wife:- Thomas Reeves, b. c1753
Before his death in 1760, Henry Reeves had sold the land in Essex County willed to him by his uncle George Reeves to Greensby Waggoner on 17 Nov 1759.
He appears to be the Henry Reeves whose estate was granted an administrators bond on 6 May 1760 in Spotsylvania County. Interestingly, that is the same date that the administrator's bond was granted for his father Thomas's estate.
Henry is probably the father of Thomas Reeves who was bound as an apprentice breeches maker to John Forman of Spotsylvania County in 1763 and again in 1768 bound to William Blyth as an apprentice breeches maker until the age of twenty-one. The 1768 document states that Thomas was at that time about 15 years of age.
