In November of 1707, the Essex County court records the extension of the term of Mary Butler, an indentured servant to Joseph Reeves, as her punishment for having a "bastard" child while serving her indenture. [Essex County VA OB 3 p.383]
Joseph Reeves was listed in an accounting of the estate of John Parker. He appears to have paid a debt to the estate, Essex County, not dated but appears in 1715.
