Elizabeth appears to have died a single woman of West Ham, Essex. In her will, she desired to be buried "in West Ham church yard as near to my dear Mother as possible." In her will, she mentions:- my niece Sarah Ann Clark Daughter of my sister Sarah Hobbs widow of Richard Hobbs deceased

- my share of the state at Lambourne end to my sister Sarah Hobbs widow...her children Richard Wells Hobbs and Sarah Ann Clark

Richard Hobbs of this Parish of Layton Essex Bachelor and Sarah Rives of this Parish & hamlet of M E O S Spinster were married in this Church by Banns this eigth Day of November in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and ninety By me Thos Thirlwall Min.
This confirms Elizabeth was a single woman with surname Rives.
