The will of his father Richard mentions "the four children that my son Richard hath, being named William, Richard, Elizabeth, and Henry." Richard was granted administration to execute the will of his father in 1715.

His sister Elizabeth Druce indicated Richard was deceased in her will from 1737, referring to "my Loving Sister Anne Ryves Widow and Relict of my late Brother Richard Ryves deceased." She also mentioned "my Niece Ann Ryves Daughter of my above named Brother Richard."

Research Notes

There was a Henry Ryves, son of Richard and Ann, baptized on 14 Jan 1701 at St Stephen, Coleman Street in London. This may be this Richard's son, especially considering that his mother Rachel Northey's father was living in St Stephen's, Coleman Street.
