In the name of God Amen this 29th day of Aprill 1659 I Thomas Reeve of the parish of Roxwell in the county of Essex Husbandman being very sick & weake in body but well & sound in mind & of good & perfect memory (praysed be the Ld for it) doe make constitute & ordaine this my Last will & Testament in manner & forme following First I bequeath my soule unto God trusting onely in him & lookeing onely for salvation in & through the alone meritts of Jesus Christ my gracious Redeemer & my body to the earth decently to be buried at the discretion of my executrix hereafter named & for those worldly goods & estate it hath pleased the Lord to bestow on mee my will is they be thus disposed ofFirst I give & bequeath unto my eldest daughter Anne Vinson the full sum of twenty marks to be paid unto her at or upon the 29th day of September next ensueing the date hereof. Item I give & bequeath unto my second daughter Mary Reeve the full sum of twenty marks to be paid unto her when shee shall come to the full age of twenty & one yeares. Item I give & bequeath unto my third daughter Margaret Reeve the full sum of twenty marks to be pai unto her when she shall come to the full age of twenty & one yeares. Item I give & bequeath unto my second sonne John Reeve the full sum of twenty pounds tenne pounds thereof to be paid unto him by my executrix when he shall come to the age of one & twenty years & the other tenne pounds to be paid unto him by his brother Richard Reeve my eldest sonne within three yeares after hee shall come to the said age of one & twenty. Item I give & bequeath unto my third sonne Thomas Reeve the full sum of twenty pounds to be paid unto him when hee shall come to the full age of one & twenty yeares. Item I give & bequeath unto my fourth & youngest sonne Mathew Reeve the full sum of twenty pounds to be paid unto him also when he shall come to the full age of twenty & one yeares And as for my eldest sonne Richard Reeve I give & bequeath unto him all my free land called Sauls lying in the aforesaid parish of Roxwell onely paying thereout tenne pounds unto his Brother John Reeve according as it is above mentioned. And I doe constitute & appoint my deare & well beloved wife Susan Reeve whole & sole executrix of this my last will & Testament & I doe give & bequeath unto her all my stock & all my goods & chattells whatsoever ungiven & unbequeathed. In witness hereof I have sett to my hand & seal the day & yeare above written.
