IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I John Reeves of South farnham parish in the County of Essex do make this my last will & Testament revokeing (sic) and disannulling all other wills or Testaments heretofore made by me ~
First my will is that all my Just debts be duly pay.d ITEM I give and bequeath the land on the west Side of the main rode that goes by the Church in Southfarnham parrish to my beloved Sister Eliz.a Reeves one negro man Tom & a negro boy Bakus and my young horse to her & her heirs for ever ITEM I give & bequeath to my Sister Eliz.a Reeves one bed and bolster rug blankett & a Sheet & bedstead to her & her heirs for ever ITEM I give & bequeath to my Sister Patience Gatewood and my Sister Ann Reeves the remainder part of the land on y.e East Side of the main Road that goes by the Church in South Farnham parrish to be Equally devided (sic) between them to them and ther (sic) heirs for ever ITEM I give and bequeath to my Sister Ann Reeves one negro girl Sara to her & her heirs for ever ITEM I give & bequeath to my Sister Ann Reeves one bed bolster rug blankett & Sheet & bedstead to her and her heirs for ever ITEM I give and bequeath to my brother George Reeves one negro man Dirk to him and his heirs for ever (carried forward, brought forward) ITEM I give and bequeath to my Brother George Reeves one oval Tabell (sic) to him & his heirs for ever ITEM I give and bequeath to my Sister Patience Gatewood one bed bolster Rug blankett & Sheet & bedstead and my Square Tabell (sic) to her & her heirs for ever ITEM I give and bequeath to my brother Tho.s Reeves my part of them negro’s that is due to me by my fathers will after the deth (sic) of my mother to him and his heirs for ever ITEM I give and bequeath all the remainder part of my Estate y.t is not given away before to be Equally devided (sic) between Tho.s Reeves George Reeves Patience Gatewood Eliz.a Reeves & Ann Reeves to them and their heirs for ever ITEM I do appoint and ordain Constitute my brother George Reeves my Executor to this my last will and Testament and in Case he Shood di (sic) before this will is proved I do appoint my Sister Eliz.a Reeves & Ann Reeves my Executrix of this my last will & Testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and fixed my Seal this twenty Second day of October 1736

This last will & Testament of John Reeves dec.d was presented by George Reeves the Ex.r therein named who made oath thereto & being also proved by the oaths of Augustine Boughan & Gabriel Jones two of the witnesses thereto was Admitted to record.
