Reeves DNA Project Updates - 3q 2019

It's been a little quieter at the Reeves DNA Project during the last three months, but that's often the case during the summer months (of the northern hemisphere). At the end of September the project had 335 members, an increase of just four during the quarter. In July we welcomed Donald and Jack; Jenna joined during August and Brenda most recently in September.

During the quarter we've received details of the results for three Y-DNA Donor members of the project, and all three matched with a pre-existing group.

    Kit  912384 for DR          added to DNA Group 05
    Kit  906034 for CR          added to DNA Group 08  

We hope these individuals or their representatives will make contact and allow us to identify them within TRP.     We've also see one new Family Finder result and no new mt-DNA results for Reeves DNA Project members during the past quarter.

Why my initials?

Although many of the same folks are involved, the Reeves DNA Project (hosted at FtDNA) and The Reeves Project, TRP (which is independently hosted), are separate entities. As admins at the Reeves DNA Project, we are not at liberty to reproduce certain information you share with the members of the Reeves DNA Project here in TRP.

We need you to give TRP permission to name you in relation to your DNA Kit. It's quick and easy to do, for a DNA Donor all it takes is a simple six line e-mail.
