David wrote his will in 1769 in which he describes himself as of Allaway Creek Salem County New Jersey. He names his wife "Julyaner" and children: David Reeve, Joshua Reeve, Moses Reeve, James Reeve, Benjamin Reeve, Prudence Reeve, and Mary Townsen.
An 1804 deed mentions land that David had willed to his sons James and Benjamin. Benjamin died "without issue" and so the whole part fell to James.
The 1814 will of Juliana mentions her daughter Prudence French, and Edmund Reeves, natural son of her son James.
The Revolutionary War Pension Application of son Joshua contains more details about this family.
