From the section on Childerditch in A History of the County of Essex:
In 1672 the houses of John Palmer and Jeremy Reeve were licensed for Presbyterian worship; Thomas Gilson of Brentwood applied to preach at the latter. In 1691 the local congregation was raising about £20 a year to support a minister, Clarke, who also had private means. He was still active in 1700. The meeting seems to have ceased by 1715, but in 1724 an application was made to license John Ballard's house for dissenters' meetings. There were said to be two Presbyterian families in the parish in 1770, but only one in 1776."

From Calendar of Essex Assize File [ASS 35/114/1] Assizes held at Chelmsford 30 June 1673:
  • Names of Jury to enquire for the King etc., 30 June 25 Charles II:- ...CHAFFORD:- Jeremiah Reeve of Childerditch gentleman [dead];

A Chancery court case reveals that Jeremiah apparently wrote a will on 14 Apr 1673 which appears to have never been probated. The heirs were arguing about various debts and land inheritance and making various appeals to the will to justify the claims. He mentions his daughter Rebecca in the will, who was to receive some land in Stoke and Wixoe in Suffolk. His wife Sarah is mentioned along with son John who was under 21 at the time. Jonathan Lagden and William Burton, apparently his brother-in-law and son-in-law, witnessed the will.
