Thomas's will from 1824 mentions the following individuals:
  • "my ...deceased Brother Admiral Reeve"
  • Sophia Reeve my wife
  • my son the said Samuel Reeve
  • William Rodwell of Ipswich

The will mentions a contract with Stephen Cook to buy the rectory at Brockdish. This rectory was mention in the will of his son Samuel as having come through his father's estate from his deceased uncle Admiral Reeve.

The Alumni Cantabrigienses (Cambridge Alumni) includes the following about him:
REEVE, THOMAS. Adm. sizar at Jesus, Mar. 26, 1763. Of Suffolk. [B. Feb. 15, 1744-5. Schools, Ipswich Grammar and St Paul's.] Matric. Easter, 1764. Ord. deacon (Norwich) June 3, 1770; priest, July 14, 1771; C. of St Peter's, Elmham, Suffolk, 1770. R. of Brockley, 1785-1824. P.C. of Ilketshall St Laurence, 1794-1824. Domestic Chaplain to the Duke of Somerset. Sometime head master of a free grammar school at Bungay. A burgess of Ipswich. Married Sophia, only dau. of the Rev. Ambrose Uvedale, R. of Barking. He shares a plaque at the St. Nicholas Churchyard in Ipswich with his father which reads:
In Memory of
The Revd. WILLm. REEVE A. M.
30 years Minister of this Parish
who died the 13th of Septr. 1755
Aged 56

The Rev. THOMAS REEVE,
Rector of Brickley in this County
youngest Son of the above,
died June 4, 1824, aged 79.
His remains are deposited,
with those of his Father,
in a Vault,
near the South Porch of this Church.
