Based on his sister Bethia Fletcher's will, we know he was also siblings to Jeremiah, Jehiel H., and Phebe Reeves.

Barnabas's headstone currently resides in the Oaklawn Cemetery. Notes from the Post Morrow Foundation of Brookhaven state that "Barnabas Reeves was first interred at the old Methodist cemetery on Beaver Dam road, Brookhaven, in reinterred here about 1890 when the Methodist cemetery was abandoned."
