In 1850, she was listed in Brookhaven, age 65, with her husband Thomas (59) and sister Phebe (58).

Bethia wrote two wills which were both probated on 17 May 1859. She mentions a number of relatives, including husband Thomas Fletcher, sister Phebe, brother Barnabas Reeves, nephew George Robinson, Mathew Edmund Woodruff & Hannah his wife who is said to be her niece), brothers Jeremiah & Jehiel H. Reeves and their children (unnamed), nephew Zopher Mills, Chalotte Mills daughter of Zopher Mills

She was buried at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Brookhaven. The inscription reads: "In Memory of Bethia, wife of Thomas Fletcher, Died March 1, 1859, aged 76 years, 6 months, and 8 days."
