  • Frederick Reeves Esqr of the Parish of St Paul Covent Garden Bachelor and Catherine Hawkes of the Parish of St Clement Danes a spinster were married in this Church by L. A. B. this Eighth Day of April 1797. by me Rich: Bullock Recr of St Paul Cov Garden

Although Frederick was of St. Paul Covent Garden, Middlesex in 1797 at his marriage, it appears he was present in India before this. He is listed in the Registers of Employees of the East India Company in the Bengal Calendar dated 1792 as having been appointed in 1782 as Muster-master and Assistant to the Military Paymaster, Bombay.
