In 1817, Nathan Reeves of Lyons, Ontario County, New York sold some land to Samuel B. Reeves and Harmon Reeves. This was a section of a "lot of land Nathan Reeves now lives on." a James Reeves witnessed the deed. Another deed was recorded immediately after this 1817 deed, dated 11 Mar 1803, in which Nathan Reve Jr. bought land from Olver and Benjamin Clark. It would seem this is the same land later conveyed in the 1817 deed.
In 1825, Samuel B. Reeves and Harmon Reeves deeded Nathan Reeves Junr and his wife Ruth some land in Arcadia. That same year Harmon and his wife Philura deeded some land to Samuel B. Reeves. This deed was for land situated "east of the old log house where Nathan Reevs now deceased did live."
In the 1830 census, Harmon Reeves was listed next to Samuel B. Reeves in Arcadia, New York. There is an older and younger couple in Harmon's household.
Harmon Reeves is stated to have been deceased in an 1839 deed.
