William and Dorothy WING, the daughter of Richard Wing and Sarah, were married at the Parish Church of St Mary, Fordingbridge, Hampshire on 25 April 1809

Has been identified on the 1841 census at Fordingbridge, Hampshire. His place of birth is noted as NOT being in the county of enumeration (ie Hampshire). Fordingbridge is in the extreme west of Hampshire and close to the border with Wiltshire. For example, Downton in Wiltshire is only six miles north and up stream on the River Avon.
