This Indenture made the eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three (1873) Between Charles W. Reeve, and Regina his wife, Angeline Reeves, Thomas Reeves, and Mary his wife, William S Reeves and Annie his wife, Levi P. Reeves Aarni Clem and Elizabeth his wife, & Rachel S. Reeve all of the Counties of Burlington and Camden and State of New Jersey, and Samuel Reeve and Jane K, his wife, & John Reeves & Sadie, his wife of Wilmington in the State of Delaware, all of whom are the heirs at law of Thomas Reeve and Samuel Reeve late of the said County of Burlington deceased, parties of the first part and Abraham Woolman of Sharning township in the said County of Burlington of the other part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well & truly paid by the said Abraham Woolman at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released confirmed & by these presents do grant, bargain, sell alien release confirm unto the said Abraham Woolman his heirs & assigns all that certain piece of Pine land called Reeves's Stne? Hill Tract situate in the aforesaid Township of Shaming all of which was assigned to the said Thomas Reeve & Samuel Reeves in a division of the estate of their Father Samuel Reeve and the said Thomas Reeve and Samuel Reeve departing this life intestate the said land descended to their children and heirs at law the parties hereof of the first part who have a lawful right to sell and convey the same; which said land hereby conveyed by a deed made by Joseph and Benjamin Reeve executors of the said Samuel Reeve the elder having date the second day of June AD 1804 the same is bounded and described as follows viz
Beginning at a stone standing at the south end of an island called Inden's pasture corner to cedar swamp surveyed John M? him which it runs (1st) north forty seven degrees east eleven chains to a cedar corner to Reeves other land thence (2) north thirty three degrees east twelve chains to a sassafras corner Munr? and John Burr thence (3rd) north eighty five degrees west twelve chains to a pine, thence (4th) west eleven chains to a pine (5th) south thirty one degrees west fourteen chains to a cedar corner to Inonnow? thence (6th) south sixty seven degrees east sixteen chains & eighty five links to the place of beginning containing thirty five acres ten roods and fourteen perches of land be the same more or less
Together with all and singular the ways waters water courses rights, liberties, priviledges, hereditaments & appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining & the reversion & reversions remainder & remainders rents issues & profits thereof & of every part and parcel thereof & all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said parties herein of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in & to the same & every part thereof - To have and to hold the said described land hereditaments & premises hereby granted or mentioned & intended to & so with the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Abraham Woolman his heirs and assigns to & for the only proper use benefit & behoof of the said Abraham Woolman his heirs and assigns forever and the said the parties herein of the first part for themselves their heirs executors & Administrators ? these presents covenant grant and agree to & with the said Abraham Wolman his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described & granted or mentioned & intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Abraham Woolman his heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part, their heirs & all & every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part shall and will by these presents warrant & forever defend

Be it remembered that in this eleventh day of January Anno Domini 1873 before the subscriber & commissioner appointed the take the acknowledgements & proof of Deeds &c in said County personally appeared the above named Charles W. Reeve and Regina B. Reeve, Angie Reeve, Aarni Chen & Elizabeth A. his iwfe, Levi P. Reeves, William S. Reeve, and Annie his wife & Rachel S. Reeve, well known to me & in due form of law acknowledged the afsd indenture to be their & each of their act and desued & desued the same might be mended as such & that Regina B. Reeve, Elizabeth A. Chen being of full age & separate & apart from their husbands by me therein privately examined & the full contents of the above deed being by me first made known unto them did thereupon declare and say that they did voluntarily & of their own free will and accord sing seal & as their act and accord sign seal & as their act and deed deliver the afsd entitled indenture deed coercin or compulsions their said husbands witness my hand & seal the day and year aforesaid

Commentary

Note that this refers to "Joseph and Benjamin Reeve executors of the said Samuel Reeve the elder." This is incorrect. They were executors of their brother Thomas Reeves.
