Joseph's headstone reads: "Died, 11 Sept. 1828, JOSEPH REEVE, in the 57th year of his age." His age appears to be a year or so off, but still makes the most sense that this is the son of Selah given that Selah is in the same cemetery and lived in the same area.
Widow Eunice is listed as "Unice" on the 1850 census in Newburgh. a "Sybuenus" (14) is with her along with a Betsey Ireland (30) and Benoni Howell (69), relationships unclear. Charles Reeve (40) is listed in the Alexander Falls household next door.
Widow Eunice was living with her son Charles in Newburgh in 1855. The census states she was his mother. Charles's will names his siblings Anthony D. Reeve, deceased sister Caroline Sloan, wife of James D. Sloan, and deceased brother Stephen D Reeve who left widow Mrs Catharine Reeve.
The 1849 will of William Sayre of Southampton identifies Eunice Reeve of Newburgh, Orange County as his sister. (WB 5, pp. 25-27)
