Research Notes:
Per Tommie R. Smith - Mrs. Iris Mayo of Hurst Texas, a descendant of Allen Reeves and author of Those Reeves Girls, traveled to both North and South Carolina researching this family extensively. She reported that Allen at one time left South Carolina and settled in Georgia, moving back to South Carolina before his death. (There is no documentation available of this supposed move.)
