May 7, 1881: Sermon by Rev. W. F. Brasington, prayer by Bro. O. C. Hinson; Bro. J. M. Faulkenberry reported himself for sinful conduct and being under the influence of intoxicating drink and was at his own request excluded from the church for same. Bro. A. J. Small reported himself for having been engaged in a fuss and using profane language and was excluded for same. Brother Silas Ingram and wife reported for not being in agreement, committee appointed to investigate. Signed J. R. Knight and W. F. Brasington.June 11, 1881: Prayer by Bro. J. A. P. Blackmon. J. M. Faulkinberry (see above) restored to fellowship. J. N. Estridge and wife received by letter. Richard Elliott baptized. Committee on the
Silas Ingram case reported they could not bring about a reconciliation between Brother Silas and wife therefore both were excluded. Martin Sims requested letters for self and wife. Amount raised by Woman's Mission for last Quarter, $5.60". Signed J. R. Knight and J. S. Croxton (pastor).
