  • 1798 July 22 - Silvanus, son of Thomas Reeves and Amy White, his wife, born Jan. 22, 1798.
  • 1798 July 22 - James, son of Thomas Reeves and Amy White, his wife, born Nov. 30, 1795.
  • 1807 July 5 - William White, son of Thomas Reeves and Amy White, his wife, born Mar. 4, 1806.
Note that the dates given for James are a year off (perhaps a type in the transcript) and don't match for William W.

Thomas appears on the 1800 census in Southampton between his brother John Reeves and David Reeves.

Thomas appears in Southampton in 1810 listed next to his brother John.

Thomas is listed in 1820 between John and David Jr., with David beyond him.

In 1830 he was next to Isaac Sayre.

His death date comes from the Mary Reeve Family Bible. His birth date is recorded in several different Bibles.

Thomas wrote his will on 15 May 1848 and it was proved 20 Jul 1849. He mentioned his daughter Mary, son-in-law Elias W. Howell. The latter along with Jonathan Fithian were made executors. Grandchildren are mentioned but not named.

The following abstract of the full probate file includes more details not found in the will:
THOMAS REEVES, of Southampton. 15 May 1848. Died 15 June, 1849. Estate to daughter Mary; if she marry $100. and balance to grandchildren, not named. Exts: son-in-law Elias W. Howell, husband of daughter Ann; Jonathan Fithian. Wits: James Parker, Jr., Mary M. Fithian. Proof adds widow Amy, sons James and William, of New York; and granddaughter Mary Ann, wife of Lemuel H. Dill and daughter of Silvanus Reeves, deceased, minor; Benjamin H. Foster, guardian. Pro: 20 July 1849. File 3886. pp 798-799.
