PROBATE COURT, FEBRUARY TERM, 1839.
JEMIMA REEVE, Administratrix of the estate of Elias Reeve, deceased, vs. Zadock Reeve, Garrett W. Reeve, Polly M. Kelly, Elias Reeve, Jr., Joel Reeve, Jonas Reeve, and David Reeve - Petition for a sale of Real Estate. It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the said Garrett W. Reeve and Joel Reeve are not residents of this State; it is ordered that they appear in this court on the first day of its next term, to wit: on the third Monday of May next, and show cause, if any they have, why the real estate of the said deceased should not be sold and made assets for the payment of the demands against the said estate; and that a copy of this order be published in some public newspaper published at Terre-Haute, three weeks successively.

Research Notes

This may be a brother to David Reeve and Solomon T Reeve. David mentions a brother named Elias. Notably Solomon was living next door to a Zadock Reeve in 1820 in Riverhead, New York who may be their father.
