Stuart Tuthill Terry Manuscripts - Southold Record Abstracts
Introduction
The following are entries from the Stuart Tuthill Terry Manuscripts held by the Center for Brooklyn History at the Brooklyn Public Library. Mrs. Terry gifted these to the Brooklyn Historical Society in 1914. The section these are copied from consists of abstracts of deeds and other documents made in the 1880s from records held by Southold residents that were never recorded.These six deeds were also included in the Terry Manuscripts but are not included here as full transcriptions were obtained from the Grathwohl Collection.

Transcript or Summary
Jonathan Reeve, Island of Nassau, mason, to Samuel Hutchinson, weaver, both of Southold, fourt April, 1699 - consideration - a competent sum of money a first Lott of Creek thatch on ye flats at Corchuake Neck. Bounded Southerly by ye marsh of Joseph Reeve, North & East by the marsh of Joshua Horton Senr & Westerly by the said Reeve.
